Hard Strips (India) is one of the leading spring steel strips & coils manufacturers offering spring steel strips & coils in India. Spring steel strips are low alloy, medium carbon steel strips or high carbon steel strips with a very high yield strength. This allows objects made of spring steel strips to return to their original shape even if they are significantly bended or twisted. Silicon is the key component to most spring steel alloys.

Spring Steel Strip is used in the production of springs. This range of steel strips normally contains between 0.40% and 0.80% carbon, with alloying elements added for products such as automotive clutches, sheet metal components etc. Spring steel strips are also used in a number of applications where hardness or resistance to bending is required such as wood cutting tools. Spring steel strips are supplied either in the annealed condition or in hardened and tempered form. Hardened and tempered spring steel strip is more suitable for flat components or where the production is primarily laser cutting or plain blanking.
